Not "Mods" but "Mobs?" WTF

I stumbled upon the link above today as I keep getting blocked from draft threads for abuse by ChiefsCountry (I think?). This is a social group called "The Mob" that's sole purpose is to target noobs and drive them away. They basically just try and force them out deciding who stays and who goes like a moderator. They are basically wannabe mods imo.

Here are some of the members:

It would be in your best interest to see if you are or were on their hit list. A lot of these guys pretty much try to "run" the place. Are you older posters OK with this? Is this condoned? If so, why even invite noobs into the place? It ain't right.

All I know is that all the theories of weird mob like mentality aren't an accident around here. It's 100% true. I don't think anyone has a problem with Noob hazing including the noobs themselves.

These guys are serious assholes and the deck is stacked against a lot of people after one post. I just thought I would bring it up because I doubt most of you are aware of it.

Would it be alright if I start a thread here in the Together Is Powerful Lounge with the practice reports I have written? I keep getting blocked from every thread I post in by ChiefsCountry in the draft forum and I don't think he can stop me here. I just don't see the point in making multiple threads and having a middle school battle anymore.

Why do I come back? This place is fun. I love the Chiefs with all of my heart and this is the best place to talk about them when you get through all the BS.

I've never actually broken any rules that warrant being perma banned to my knowledge. I think that's why they let me come back. There is definately a lot of BS going around about BlackBob but, most of the problems I suffer from are indeed the ones I made.

I really don't mind the negative press. I am not an attention whore and often times in the past I have said controversial things to make conversation. I've changed and am keeping it down this time.

I'll be honest. I do feel vindicated for starting this thread. I knew there was a group targeting me specifically and they motivated me to stay. I expressed my opinion about "mob mentality" and "witch hunts" going on here and a lot of people have said over the years that they didn't exist. It's pretty funny and I guess the sun shines on a dog's ass every now and again.

For the record, I have had four accounts over time. BlackBob, Woodchuck, Bub, and now Rambozo which is taken from the Dead Kennedy's song.

Also, I truly don't live or work in the places ChiefsCountry says I do. The networks probably say that because they are based there.

It is what it is. Say whatever you want and I'll swim through the shit. Just don't bitch to the mods like you usually do. That's my only request. You guys bitch about me 1,000 times more than I bitch about you.

P.S. DaFace forgot to mention the e-mails where I requested to be a mod on April Fools Day. Maybe he would have gone through with it? That would have been the funniest shit ever!

Sounds like people just didn't like what Hootie had to say. Why does he have to stick with just football, while the rest of us BS? I haven't really ever gotten along with Hootie, but, if he's going to be on the board, then I don't see why he has to have the restrictions of talking just football. Nothing about his post was ban-worthy. It was just opinion. This thread is about rep, and that's what he was assessing.

I'll be honest with you, Hooters. It really got under my skin when you first outted me as a rep whore. I overthought it as well. Rep is genuinely ****ing stupid, but everyone likes to be accepted. But this truly isn't about me. It's about you, and the goddamn work I put in on your behalf.

Thanks for your opinion. It was a private moderator decision made by a team of 8 mods and the guy who owns the place to decide on the terms of his reinstatement. That was what I got to work with, Hootie agreed to it, and we ran with it. That's really all there is to say about that.
