Heartbreaking scenes...
Just saw a meme on Facebook and it got me thinking, what are the most heartbreaking movie scenes in all of history?

I'll throw a couple out there.

Worst in a children's movie: Artax's death scene in the Swamp of Sadness in The Neverending Story.

All-time: Oskar Schindler devastated that he could have saved more lives at the end of Schindler's list.

For me Requiem For A Dream was the furthest end of a spectrum.

You follow 3 characters. They make bad choices. You KNOW bad things will happen.

The film slowly documents the complete destruction of the human soul. In four different people. Slowly.

That's the best way I can describe it. It's the best portrait of addiction I've ever seen...

The part I'm describing starts at 2:55, 3:50 is where i choke up.
