Try to install it and see what happens and what size partition it will try to create.
You could use Windows Disk Manager after you have installed SP3 and see if it finds the other partition but if you want to make the whole drive 1 partition then yes you probably would have to get a partition manager. Other than that I don't know. I sometimes try the trial and error method. |

I would set up the HD with 2 different partitions. You won't be able to reset it "on the fly" unlessy ou have an aftermarket partition manager.

I forgot about slipstreaming. I made me a slipstreamed ISO of Win2k SP4. So I'll try setting up the single partition with the WD Data Lifeguard, and install right into SP4.
