You have seen a lot of cops mess with left lane slowpokes. That's pretty remarkable.

If you're abiding by the law, you won't be passing the car in front of you regardless, assuming you're both in the left lane driving at the posted limit.

If you wanna be mad because you wanna speed off like the idiot in the truck, that's your problem, not the guy in front of you.

To be upset at someone for doing exactly as the law says they should do is ****ing stupid.

"OMG he's not letting me speed and be jackass, what an ASSHOLE! /flips the bird"
I said big rig or any other vehicle...my point was people who DRIVE FOR A LIVING understand this simple road etiquette.

Other times they will not and the cop either pulls them over and tickets them, or makes them pull over to one of the right lanes and lets them go.
And that's fine. Clearly, as i've stated over and over again, you can't go below the speed limit in the left lane, just scoot over or get a ticket.

But that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about drivers abiding by the posted limit, which is what this woman was doing.

A cop isn't going to pull someone over for driving @ the posted limit.

"Uh sir, you were driving at the posted limit, im going to have to give you a ticket"

....doesn't work that way.

I can understand not getting over for the one off dick who is driving like a maniac, but even if you are doing 10 over the speed limit and there is a line of cars behind you, you are a bigger dick for not getting over. That shit is causing a back up a mile or 2 down the highway.

There's no evidence she tapped her brakes.

Just looking at the trees on the side of the road, it appears the rager was the one that tapped his brakes.

Watch it again.

My final bit of commentary is that Florida does not have a "left lane is only for passing" law. There was a bill proposed about 10 years ago that would have made it so, but it was not enacted.

Someone who drives for a living should understand that abiding by the law does not = being rude.

You still don't seem to understand that YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO DRIVE ABOVE THE SPEED LIMIT.

Is THAT not considered bad etiquette?

If you CAN get over, sure.

There are many, many times where one can't and yet this happens anyway.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people that would risk big money, or their lives, to cut 5 minutes off of their drive.

I have actually seen it happen, I cannot confirm they got a ticket but they were pulled over and stopped. A few times they were pulled over to the right and the cop went about his business.

If you're doing 10 over the limit then you're likely not the reason there is a line of cars behind you.

And it usually doesn't even equate to 5 minutes. It may equate to 1-2 minutes tops.

And you knew what speed they were going, huh?

I find it pretty hard to believe that a cop would pull someone over who was driving at the posted limit to allow others to break the law and endanger themselves.

Jesus Christ. Almost everyone drives above the speed limit, even cops. Most cops wont even pull you over on a highway unless you're going 10+ over and any judge would throw a 5 mph or under ticket out of court if you fought it. But I'm not arguing laws I'm talking about common road courtesy, something you clearly cannot comprehend.

My tractor tops out at 64. I drive under the speed limit in the passing lane all the time. Wtf am I supposed to do if someone is going slower than me?
