You can't go wrong with a 27. That piece is compact, and has enough juice to take down a meth monkey.

Those Judge revolvers shoot the .45 Colt (sometimes called a 'long Colt') not the .45acp, but hey...I might miss the barn with those, too. For nightstand duty I'd load something like these:

This old boy tested various loads in a Judge, might want to review his findings:

I put a +1 extension on the magazines that gives you grip on the fourth finger, because i have large hands. it's perfect for CC now.

i figure if i have a 40 with HP it would stop a crackhead, which is the main worry around here.

I don't know if there will be a detailed analysis, since we've only made one pick. If we were somehow able to get back into the 2nd and make more picks today, I might break it down.

As for my analysis of the Jackson pick, it's a reach. But color me ambivalent. I wanted like hell to trade down, but when I saw what the Browns got I'm glad we didn't take a package of shit like that.

Jackson isn't ideal at #3, but he's more valuable to us than Curry or Monroe would have been.

Yeah, it was the least-bad of all our less-than-ideal choices.

I agree with this.

Has this been an exciting day? Not by a long shot, but it's far from the "epic collapse" that some are painting it to be.

I would have preferred to have drafted Sanchez and keep our 2nd rounder, but in fairness, he's no more of a sure thing than Cassel. We'll see if Pioli made the right decision.

It's not even about Sanchez( though grabbing a QB the Jets and god knows who else might have coveted could have created some leverage ), it's about the stone cold fact that Jesus GM couldn't get the trade down; he couldn't get it done!
Does anyone honestly believe this franchise coveted Jackson? WHO THE **** IS THIS GUY????

Fail. Complete and utter fail.
