hehe, we will get another xbox price drop if ps3 sales pick up. xbox is making money now off their console. So i am sure they can afford it if they gotta do it.

Its going to be interesting. I honestly expect in a year or 2, for another xbox to come out. Whoever gets in first is the one thats going to win. That seems to be how it works.

Thats OK, I'll be perfectly fine with what I have if they do that within 2 years. Neither one of these consoles needs replaced that soon.

Well depends what the next gen console is going to bring, if it looks good enough and has enough support behind it from publishers/developers. I will be all over it. I have done that since the atari 2600, so why change now. lol

Well, until it hits the $300 price point or lower, I won't be giving them any business. There is no need for complete overhauls.

Still, it won't play Blu-rays and it doesn't have wi-fi and it costs 30-50 per year for live.

(and the RRoD is still an issue) I figure anyone who wanted to play Gears 1 and Halo series has done so by now. Advantage: PS3

as much as i have been playing my ps3 lately, i dont even care about blu ray really, i bought one movie i seen 2 times on it and thats it. Though, it is cool to show people The Dark Knight on the 65 inch 1080p that come over. They are amazed by the opening scene with the buildings and the windows. lol

I bought it primarily FOR blurays but since then hardly ever watch blurays and generally play solid games for it.
