Any Top Gear watchers

I seriously love this show, balls out car talk with British humor.

Just saw the Audi R8 review and my jaw about dropped when Jeremy characterized it's handling as 'like slathering honey in Kiera Knightly.'

They can just change their show to 'The Veyron Show' and I'd still watch fortnightly.

They have one where they race a plane against a Veyron from Northern Italy back to London. Clarkson is in the Bugatti.....it's hilarious.

Top Gear should come over here in BBC form, forget making an 'American' version.

I could see Corolla working quite well but he isn't really known as a car enthusiast. Probably will depend on who else is featured.

Its really irritating that BBCA has edited for time programming. I don't care about the commercials but I wish they would show all of the footage and just let it run over 30 minutes rather than cutting it to fit in the 1 hr slot.

Thoughts, and whaddaya think of the US porting of Hammond, May and Clarkson to Faust, Ferrara and Wood.

Stig taking a V-8 Atom around the track in 36.2 seconds!!

Then Clarkson at 35.8 in a Lotus 'non-F1?'

Holy schnikes!! 'Reasonably priced cars' in the 1:40 to 1:50 range, supercars in the 1:15 to 1:20 range, and they both take 60% OFF what supercars are capable of?

I was set up for the short lap. Think they were saying something like upper 50's for a wet lap in an F1 car they previously had out there.

That was a pretty cool segment. I really liked how they used the Mercedes to give some frame of reference to what that Lotus was capable of.

You'd think they'd have developed some sick simulators with indicators and whatnot to better prep drivers for what's to be expected. You wouldn't have that 'seat of your pants' experience, but in terms of sense memory, at least you'd have your visuals.

The India christmas special wasn't as great as their past specials. The new series(18) starts sometime this month.
