I would probably get this but it would take me awhile to install it. Unless someone can help me set it up. I rmemeber messing with jumpers or some bullshit when i was 13 on my old computer trying to install a 1.2 gig hd

it's very simple ...


most hard drives come with a little diagram on the drive itself telling you have to set the jumpers. they also come with a "automatic" cable determines setting.

Seagate is a good brand, would be nice if it was SATA but can't complain for $40.

I picked up a maxtor 200 gb, 7200, 8mb for $40.00 at staples last week. Seagate>Maxtor

maybe i will get it, but i was saving all my computer money for a lap top through work. I have too many computer projects going right now. I have a 5 year old gateway that i have worked on for years and I don't want to let it sit there. So i am trying to get this old crt to work. I have all this junk around and i work on it and when i get done and it works my only enjoyment is i can access chiefsplanet from a different part of the house whoo hooo
