2020: Oprah! Oprah! Oprah!

SWEET!!!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...president.html

BONUS: And her hands are bigger than his, too.

Even Drudge likes the idea:

I've been joking with co-workers for the last 3 months about this possibility; it may not be a joke after all...

She would win, too....easily.

President Winfrey?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...president.html

Oprah says in the age of Trump that she could run for the White House despite being unqualified for the job

Oprah said she had never thought about possibly being president until Donald Trump won the job

She believed she was unqualified and didn't have enough raw knowledge
'And now I'm thinking, "Oh! Oh!" she said'

Oprah would be the first woman president if she were to leverage her near-universal name ID to match Trump's political lightning moment

She already built a successful broadcasting career on unlikely triumphs, including a ratings war that saw her beat legendary interviewer Phil Donahue

That sounds like modesty to me considering she wrote the title to that book. Not even sincere modesty. The modesty of a person who scripts her brand to not be too corporate. You don't grow a media empire and brand like that by delegating. I've heard of people who have went to her show back in the day who said the entire experience was extremely controlled. Most reports about her offstage is that she's extremely assertive. That being said, she'd be a horrible choice for presidential candidate.

Can't face the fact she's an actual self-made billionaire, eh?

Trump was qualified because he's so good at running a business, but someone who started with much less and now has more? Nah, not a real business person.

I think she's a businesswomen and must be pretty good at it. However, her politics are the only reason I would not want her to be President.

Oprah Winfrey started with nothing and became a billionaire.

Trump started with the $40 million given to him by his father. And then, when his father died, Trump inherited a sizable chunk of his father's estate, which was estimated to be between $200 and $300 million.

Trump claimed in 1982 that he was worth $500 million. Now, 35 years later, he's a billionaire with a net worth somewhere between $4 Billion and $10 Billion. That's not exactly impressive, since he could have just taken that $500 million and put into an S&P Index Fund. If he had simply done that, he would be worth $40 BILLION today. Depending upon what you believe his net worth truly is, this means Trump squandered somewhere between $6 Billion and $30 Billion.

I'll take a self-made billionaire over a guy who had a fortune handed to him by his daddy, especially when the guy squandered at least $10 Billion of that fortune by putting up buildings with his name on them so he could say "Look at me!".

Trump Worth $10 Billion Less Than If He’d Simply Invested in Index Funds <=== Link

The idea of Oprah Winfrey running for President would have sounded completely ridiculous to me two years ago. But times have changed.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t want her to be President. But if we were faced with the choice of Oprah or Trump in 2020, it would be an interesting general election.

Fortunately, Trump will probably resign long before 2020.
