The new maps are called Crash, Overgrown, Bailout, Salvage and Storm.

Crash and Overgrown are both remakes. I liked them both on the old game so I may have been biased already but I like them both still.

Bailout is a fairly long map with two corridors down the sides. It's alright in some games (I like domination on it generally) but can be a pain especially if your team sucks.

Salvage has a lot of cover and twists and turns. No fun on deathmatch but again I generally enjoy it on domination. It's also no good on sabotage as one side has a much better spot in my opinion.

Storm is another one of the feast or famine type maps though I have had fun on it in a variety of game types. Overall I like the new maps better than the original ones.

I just went on a ****ing tear on FFA the past couple hours. I played like 10 or 15 straight FFA's and the worst score I had was 30-12. I probably had a KDR above 6 for most of them. I think I was the host though so that kinda tarnishes it a bit.

I have been playing a bunch of mixed games recently on the new maps and I think that the players that play those objective games are worlds better than the people who play FFA. I think playing against those objective games players made me better or something lol.

I have basically given up on playing this game again.

I never end up being the host so my connection is typically 2 and 3 bars almost every single game I play, which basically means, without camping, I am guaranteed to do no better than 1:1 KDR. Even when my friends in KC are host I still have a shit connection, and its not like my net is slow, its 12MB.

Also, I just thought I'd say that I hate Salvage as a map... just terrible for basically any game play and wonderful for camping and n00b tubes.

Bandwidth has nothing to do with lag. You need to check your ping. Latency will make or break you.

If my friends weren't on there, I would have been done long ago. I continually think about taking a shit in a box, burning that shit filled box, and mailing it in a box with the MW2 game to Activision with a nice "Thank you" card attached.

I DL'd the "Stimulus Package" and all it stimulated was my anger. Two recycled maps and three new big confusing ones. Fock this franchise. Only thing that makes it worse is that I live right next to Activision and occasionally see the exec pulling out in his BRIGHT METALLIC ORANGE Lamborghini.

I started playing GTA 4 again, never finished it the first time. Now that's some fun.

I've switched to BFBC2. It has its flaws but I'm enjoying it quite a bit, especially when you get some friends in a squad.

I was done with MW2 when they decided to charge $15 for a f'n map pack that didn't include much. 3 new maps and 2 recycled ones. They just announced the 2nd map pack for the same price.

Bobby Kotick can go to hell.

I'm interested to see what the guys from IW can do with EA backing them. I used to be anti-EA but they are actually attempting to get better.
