It's just going to take some talent. If anybody had any thoughts of turning this program around quicker, you are dreaming. Next year we may find 5 wins, but this year we are not winning a single conference game.

It's going to take a lot of salesmanship on recruiting talent to be able to compete.

Our coaching is not what it needs to be with the talent we have. How much of it is still due to lack of talent? If we are trying to do things the talent level does not allow us to do, it's going to be sucky, as we are now. IMHO, we still do not have the talent to compete in this league, we need better talent to win conference games. This last recruiting class was better, but not enough. Until then, it's not happening.

Defensively I thought we were doing some decent things. But then a ****ing quarter and a half or whatever without a FIRST DOWN is death for any defense. Then they immediately would **** off and give them a short field. Not just good field position, the ball on our 20 yard line. Repeatedly.

We're better. Particularly defensively. But there is a lot of different levels of ****tardery stacking up and offsetting the improvement.

OL and WR positions may be worse, but overall we're better.

I watched it on DVR after golfing (a much more sensible and fun pursuit than going to the games) so I wasn't there to witness the latest humiliation. Nor will I be this season either. But please don't say they're getting better. Don't bother bringing that nonsense on here. 54 unanswered points - at home! To a 1st year coach at Tech starting a walk on QB.


Chunky Charlie is a total joke until he proves otherwise. Just as Gill was. They fired a great coach and brought in two comedians. Don't sugar coat it, no need to.
