Didn't we do this a few months ago?
Iron Maiden always had some cool ones. Here was one of my favorites.

Wish I knew how to paste pictures here.
My son is in the band 'Veda'. They were robbed in Detroit last Saturday. Lost their van, trailer, all equipment and all their personal stuff, including $20k worth of their CD's, T-shirts and the rest of their merchadise. I would like to ask folks in the Detroit area to be on the lookout for Veda CD's that might be stolen. It could be worse. They are touring with Thrice and have been riding in their luxury coach and getting some excellent equipment loaned to them. It could be worse, I guess. Anyway, I would put their CD cover on here, but I'm not all that good with P.C.'s. |

I'm assuming we're talking about LP records...you know, those OLD big cardboard things. CD covers aren't quite as fun somehow.
Some of my favorites: Sticky Fingers-Stones (with the zipper) Physical Graffitti-Led Zep (windows pullout) Wizard: A True Star-Todd Rundgren (Odd shape) Anything by Roxy Music (hot chicks) White Album-Beatles (cool posters inside) School's Out-Alice Cooper (album opened like a school desk) Yes, cool album covers are one thing. But what about the WORST of all time? Here's some links. Some of the most profoundly stinky ones show up on multiple lists. My fave is the chick taking a dump. That's classy! http://blogcritics.org/archives/2005/06/09/125804.php http://porktornado.diaryland.com/covers2.html http://www.zonicweb.net/badalbmcvrs/ http://www.guardian.co.uk/arts/galle...343471,00.html Last edited by gblowfish; 10-27-2005 at 01:59 PM.. |
