Here they come!

Another massive caravan of Central American "migrants" flaunting the inability of the weakling in the White House to lift a finger.

The crowd more than doubled in size from Saturday, when some 1,300 people set off from northern Honduras in what has been dubbed "March of the Migrant," an organizer said. The migrants plan to seek refugee status in Mexico or pass through to the United States.

Why is this a far right topic?

Every indication to me is that it is bi-partisan except for the far left and corporatist globalists.

I mean we all know Honduras and Guatemala are crappy places to live. SO every immigrant coming here just "wants a better life for their family" and aw shucks we're not allowed to question that.

So what percentage of their population do liberals think we need to allow across the border? 20%, 80%?

Also if they are all such great people just striving to better themselves, doesn't that mean there will be less good people in these bad countries to try to improve them? Thereby just creating a vicious circle where the place gets worse and worse and more of the decent people want to leave?
It would help if the USA didn’t overthrow democratically elected governments in Latin America, for starters.

The CIA treated Latin America like a playground throughout the Cold War (and likely continues to do so). We’re seeing the consequences of our policy of supporting brutal, far right dictators through several of today’s most pressing political issues.

I am never going to advocate that the solution is to go full San Francisco. I’m quite opposed to that, in fact. The issue is way, way more nuanced than that. What we need is a comprehensive reform from top to bottom on our immigration policy - and enforcement is a huge part of that. What Trump has done right is idenitifying groups such as MS-13 as a major threat to U.S. and international communities. His unpredictable enforcement of his immigration agenda, however, has left a lot to be desired and at times has been quite reprehensible.

Yep! Confessions of an Economic Hit Man and writings of Smedly Butler covers how they do it too. The land there is mostly owned by large foreign companies—one was United Fruit ( Chiquita today) and the jackals get sent in there if they think their land will be confiscated by communists agitating in the area. Bush family had ownership in United Fruit. So, though we get told we're fighting the spread of communism a lot of military action was to protect corporate interests.

But falling to communism wouldn't have improved their lives either. Just look at Venezuela and Cuba for proof of that. However, those place did need some true reform.

Here's some good news for you PrisonBitch

Mexico Vows to Stop Migrant Caravan If It Ignores Immigration Law

Mexico’s immigration authorities vowed to stop members of a migrant caravan consisting of roughly 1,300 individuals from Honduras trying to make their way north, eventually to the U.S. border. Those wanting to enter Mexico will have to follow immigration law or they will be turned back, officials say.
In a prepared statement, the National Immigration Institute (INM) claimed that members of the migrant caravan wanting to enter Mexico would have to request a visa through their consulate and follow immigration law. Those who refuse would be turned back....

The caravan was apparently organized through social media and started on Saturday. By Monday, the group already entered Guatemala as they made their way toward the border with Mexico. The statements made by group members point to a lack of jobs and violence in Honduras as their reason to head north.

They're so poor that they own computers and do social media? Smacks of a MoveOn operation funded by Soros.

It's sad that white man cant even defend his own territories without begging other nations to help him do so. Sad beyond words

Tapachula, Mexico (CNN)A chaotic scene unfolded as a massive caravan of Honduran migrants reached the Guatemala-Mexico border Friday.

A surge of migrants broke through a steel fence that had been padlocked shut. Mexican police in riot gear pushed them back, setting off smoke canisters.

Hundreds of Mexican Federal Police sealed the border as drones and helicopters hovered above the crowd, which waited on a bridge in sweltering heat.

Thousands of migrants are waiting to cross, according to CNN teams at the scene.

At least a dozen migrants stuck on the bridge have jumped into the river below.
