***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

The Packers aren't the best drafting team in the NFL.

Will Miller be as great as the first rounders the Broncos picked before him? Here are the players picked in the first round over the past decade:

Tim Tebow
Demaryius Thomas
Robert Ayers
Knowshon Moreno
Ryan Clady
Jarvis Moss
Jay Cutler
DJ Williams
George Foster
Ashley Lelie
Willie Middlebrooks

You have a solid LB who was once a Pro Bowl alternate in Williams.

You have a mediocre QB who was traded away in Cutler.

You have a very good LT in Clady.

You have 8 busts (or maybe 7 busts and a fullback).

Denver was shit at drafting under Mike Shanahan and the players that McD drafted haven't been in the league three years yet, kinda premature to start calling them busts especially when guys like Robert Ayers, DT, Knowshon, and Tebow have showed a lot of flashes.

Since the advent of unrestricted free agency in 1993, the Broncos have signed 106 players, the mile-highest number in the entire league. Patrick Smyth, the Broncos' director of media relations, confirmed the total.

Kind of a cool thing to know about your favorite team. Where do you think the Chiefs rank on that same list?

Not recently but Denver had at least 10 starters on their SB teams who were added to the team with free agency.

It's cool to know that Pat Bowlen hasn't had any problems spending money to field a consistent winner, it just sucks that Denver has been average the past 3 or 4 years.

We were there 2 years ago.

The difference between Denver and KC is the way they are trying to rebuild. Denver is using a retread coach from a shit team which is surround by shit players.

Sound's a lot like the Herm Edwards Era to me.

What flashes has Ayers shown? Everyone with a functional brain that has watched him realizes that he's a shitbag. Even Bronco fans on this board have called him out.

DT is an injury prone joke too.

Knowshon? You're going to say he's flashed when John Fox said the #1 priority is getting another RB?

Get ****ing real.

According to Denver Post columnist Woody Paige, it didn't take long for Josh McDaniels' coaching staff to determine that Knowshon Moreno was a "bust" and "wimp on the field" after they drafted him.Paige, not usually into reporting, cites "someone who worked closely with Josh" and who Paige "trust(s) to tell me the truth." The unnamed person says McDaniels' staff quickly determined that Moreno "was not what they thought," and "is not a great clubhouse guy." Paige reiterates that the John Fox coaching staff will make finding a No. 1 running back a priority in free agency. Jul 14
