Heres a quick list of all the games in my XBL arcade. and ratings out of 10.

8 Aegis Wing (FREE)
6 Asteroids
8 Battlefield 1943
6 Battlements
9 Castle Crashers
10 CastleVania SOTN
2 Centipede & Millipede
8 *Defender*
7 Frogger
8 Galaga
5 Game Room
6 Gauntlet
7 *Joust*
7 Junkyard Wars
5 Madden NFL Arcade
8 MEGAMAN IX
4 Missile Command
6 Missile Escape
8 Ms. Pac-man
8 Pac-man
9 Pac-man Championship Edition
8 *Paperboy*
7 Puzzle Fighter HD
8 Pinball FX
Buccaneer - 8.5
Excalibur - 9
Haunted Mansion - 8
Rocky & Bulwinkle - 7
Street Fighter II - 8

9 *Robotron 2084*
7 Scrap Metal
8 Serious Sam HD: TFE
7 Time Pilot
9 Toy Soldiers
8 Trials HD
7 TRON
5 Turtles in Time RS
7 Zombie Apocalypse

** = no longer available on XBLA

Battlefield 1943
- great Value for the points

Centipede & Millipede
- 360 controllers are terrible for this game

Defender - extremely challenging, better played with a joystick.

Frogger
- another extreme challenge. I still can't get past level 4

Galaga - if you own a joystick, you might was well buy this. badly in need of a weekly leaderboard

Game room - it looks cool but doesnt have enough decent games to fill an arcade. I've already paid for games in the XBL arcade. now I'll have to buy them again in order to put the cabinet in my avatar's game room. Still this could shape up to be decent depending on the additional content that is released later on.

Gauntlet - I like it even if no one else does. I cant rate it any higher because there's never anyone playing online and its not a good single player experience

Joust
- its a fun game and I'd like to rate it higher but this game should be a Joust/Joust II combo like centipede/millipede. Joust and Joust II are the same game with different backgrounds.

Junkyard Wars
- its different and it was only 80 points

Madden NFL Arcade - The play calling in NFL Blitz was better than this. not worth 1200 points.

Missile Command
- controller issues, just too hard to do with a thumbstick.

Ms. Pac-man - arcade-perfect port

Pac-man
- arcade-perfect, I've tried a dozen patterns and they all work with the exact same timing as Pac-man coin-ops.

Pac-man Championship Edition - This is the fastest paced Pac-man game

Robotron 2084 - this is the most difficult game in the XBLA. this game also has the most competive weekly leaderboard of all the the XBLA classics. my only gripe is that the scoreboard only accepts default settings. this game gets fun with the difficulty turned up to 5 or higher.

TRON - controls better than I thought it would.

Turtles in Time RS
- new look, but everything else is pretty much the same

Zombie Apocalypse - Same controls as Smash TV and Robotron. Too easy and too monotonous.

You don't have the 3 best XBLA titles...
Shadow Complex
Geometry Wars (1 and 2)
Biotic Commando

FYI, EA has a $20 coupon on games $39.99 and up.

Achievement-whoring* on Dragon Age (and Batman:AA), here I come.

*Question, is it whoring when the games are actually great?

Can't let this thread drop to page 3.....

For serious cheapskates, there's a deal going on at EA.com. Basically you combine a $20 off coupon with a $15 off per game coupon (which takes a moderate amount of effort to obtain).

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...56656&page=116

Basically, you can get a $40 game for $5 and any of the following for $5 as well (I think).

List of $20 games - LOTR: Conquest, Skate 2, Dead Space. Brutal Legend, Orange Box, Mercs 2, Battlefield BC, Army of Two, Need for Speed: Pro Street.

Great buy for Dead Space. For anyone that hasn't played it, and enjoys survival horror, it's worth it.

Just bought Fallout 3 for $20. Not my type of game, but I figured it was an easy choice for $20. Almost got Borderlands instead.

Yeah, I'm a huge RPG fan, but I'm right there with you, Bethesda games just don't work for me. Don't get me wrong, I played and beat Fallout, but I didn't enjoy as much as even such a pedestrian RPG like Fable.

I had never really played an RPG before, but got fallout 3 for PC. I loved it but realized quickly (having played it for 3 days on 360 as well - rental) that it could suck for a console. At least on PC you can go to the (console) and type in a "cheat" and let your guy walk at 20X the normal speed when you have to walk out to BFE.

Having said that, I played most of the game legit, then starting downloading dev. mods and game add-ons and other awesome shit... like naked crazy women!

I'm not a huge fan of RPGs. Maybe because I've never played one. But for 20 bucks I was on it like a fat kid on cake.
