undisputable #1 board

did any one else notice that our board bretheren (coalition) have now went to bed with a sportsbook? after watching many posters being booted because of their unsavory reputation bringing down the reputation of their classy board, it seems funny that they now promote the devil (bodog). they cancelled their nudie women thread because it made them look bad. I know that many of their mods get their ideas from this site. i wonder where they got this one. this site has much better content, posters, and now ethics. good luck to the coalition in their quest to snuggle up to the chiefs now that they are now a gambling website. game over - no contest - the planet rules!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. You can not find one football thread that does not get swurved into a General Thread here. If there is any Chief content it is usually hidden in pages of BS. I must say though, the general thread type topics are much more entertaining here than those at CC.

Which is why I visit both forums.

Not true at all.

I've tried lots of other BB, and while most of them are nicely organized with no poop threads cluttering up the football forum, NONE of them come close when it comes to analysis of the game in depth.

When it comes down to semi-intelligent football discussion, the Planet is by far the best site. It's tough in the offseason though if you don't participate in the 'getting to know you type threads'.

I am not arguing the intel level of the discussion. you just can't find one that stays 100% about the Chiefs, without someone swurving it. Just like this thread swurved from a CC bashing to Phobia's friends or lack of friends. it may return back to a discussion about Chiefs, but several pages later. It happens over there to, but not as often.

One thing is for sure, they do have a lot more repost, and they don't keep a very firm rule on keeping topics in the room it is appropriate for.

I agree. There's a lot of knowledgable football posts on this board, and more importantly, you don't have to be a complete homer to participate. CP has a broad range of fans , from total homers to complete darksiders, but a lot of them are smart football minds.

You do have to wade through some bullshit on occasion, but that adds some personality to the board keeps you from taking yourself too seriously.

I thought you were contractually obligated to post at least 100 posts on the Mange every week.

When at any point in this thread was the discussion about the Chiefs or Chiefs football? This thread, by definition, has nothing to do with Chiefs or football, but rather BB politics.

So what's the 'hot' Chiefs topic today at the Coalition that everyone is talking about? Im sure it's scintillating discussion.

I haven't posted on the Mange since someone said that fatass Dwayne Carswell should be a Ring of Famer after his car accident, and I called them out on it. One of their mods got his vagina knotted up and banned me for a week, and I haven't been back.

That board is as bad a homer board as anything on the net. They have no interest in discussing football unless you're sucking Bronco cock while doing it.

Trust me, the fans at my office are the same. I still have a few co-workers who refuse to talk to me after all the smack talk leading up to their Playoff loss vs. Pittsburgh.

When their team is winning, you can say all you want- but, as soon as they lose, they stop talking...period.

Thanks for taking my post so literal. I was simply pointing out how every thread is swurved to a general topic.

Todays hot topic, is still discussing which D-line (Abraham) will we go after. Would we be interested in Joe Jeravicious. (sp?) And how LJ broke Priest record in basically 8 games. Of course there is still people talking about TO, and there is questions about the Chiefs Schedule next year. Yes, it is slow.

If people were wanting to just talk BS, they go to the general forum. Which I rarely visit, I would rather work.

It's probably a continued John Abraham love fest.

and the class of Sept 2005 rears its fugly head again.

How many times must the same discussions be rehashed....unfounded theories, prior to FA?

"So, I think the Chiefs should sign John Abraham and will because he played for HErman"
"yeah"
"yeah, but he's small and a speed rusher and is the same basic player as Allen, only older and more injury prone with higher salary expectations"
"yeah".

Instead of bitching about the lack of football threads.....make one, you sniveling arsehats.

If you can't handle a little off-topic discussion, find another Tent to camp in.
