Unhappy with the Chiefs? Get your new team here.

If you're unhappy with the Chiefs or your current team, now is your chance to take action. For the next few hours, and only the next few hours, I am willing to give you a new team to root for this season.

To keep the rush orderly, note the time that you are making your request. I will then assign the teams at the end of each hour.

The assignment will be random, and 1 in 32 on average will not be allowed to switch allegiances since the Chiefs are in the random thread. Also be warned that other AFC West teams could be drawn, so don't make this decision lightly.

If you take a new team, the expectation is that you will watch their games and report back with sadness when they lose and happiness when they win.

Edit: You must enter your name in the public poll to get a new team. I'm learning from all those years of sorting through 200 posts on threads like these.

Okay, next up is the 6:30 crowd, with a few stragglers from earlier times.

Mr. Kotter - Seattle Seahawks. How about that Marshawn Lynch?
Cephalic Trauma - New Orleans Saints. They'll come back now that Payton's back.
"Bob" Dobbs - Indianapolis Colts. They're not rebuilding, they're reloading.

You should really extend this to one day following the draft.

CanadianChief - Washington Redskins. Too bad about that Shanahan thing.
Fishpicker - Atlanta Falcons. Do you think Tony Gonzalez is going to come back?
HemiEd - Carolina Panthers. Hey, they went to a Super Bowl in the past decade or so?
KC Hawks - Detroit Lions. Now you can tell Barry Sanders stories.
Pablo - Minnesota Vikings. Do you think Jared Allen is going to be in the Hall of Fame?
Pestilence - Unfortunately, you are not allowed to change. You will be a Chiefs fan until you die.
theelusiveeightrop - Washington Redskins. It seems like a lot of people are moving to the other Indian team.
Thanks a lot. I liked the Redskins QB approach last draft. Know, I have one legged RG III and Cousins. Could be worse, I suppose.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

I can live with that pick. The Shanarat thing is bearable with RGIII as my QB.
