Ancient Aliens

I'm addicted to this show. I love it. I think most of their theories are complete speculation and BS, but just stuff about the mysteries of the ancient world are astonishing, regardless of the spin they put on it.

Are there any other shows, movies, or documentaries about the wonders of the ancient world?

Yeah. The president of the US can't even get away with a sneak BJ from an intern behind guarded doors at the White House. And despite years and years of documented idiocy from our government, we're supposed to believe that it's still possible that a giant coverup involving millions upon millions of people has been successfully pulled off for generations? And not just that, but regarding something that would fundamentally change the course of human civilization and our understanding of the universe, creation, and everything. In an age where a huge majority of people have a camera on them at all times, countless telescopes(radio, optical, x-ray, other spectrums, etc.) pointed at the sky indefinitely, and yet there's still no video proof that can't be logically explained in some terrestrial way.

What experiences have you had that would make you come to believe this? If I might ask.

I'm not going to type them all out here, it wouldnt make a whit of difference to yourself & others.

Its just one of those things i'm not going to spill & pointlessly argue about here, you dont have to believe a single thing you dont want to & i really am perfectly fine with that.

Theres a ton of great info & stories out there from outstanding sources, if you're actually interested in hearing the other side, do some googling.

Who says the conspiracy is under wraps? The conspiracy, or should I say aspects of it, is out but the smearing process and ridicule is widespread which prevents acceptance by many.

Also, when people who do speak are threatened with their lives you will certainly be less likely to keep talking. Ask Bob Lazar.

Bob Lazar? The same guy who's been caught numerous times lying, and even arrested for various charges relating to selling radioactive materials? The same Bob Lazar who claims he was personally contacted by Zeta Reticulians and given a 1M year history of Earth? That Lazar? He doesn't seem all that trustworthy when concerning global government coverups.

Quote:
For the propulsion of the studied vehicles, Bob Lazar claims that the atomic Element 115 served as a nuclear fuel. Element 115 (nicknamed 'Ununpentium' (Uup)) reportedly provided an energy source which would produce anti-gravity effects under proton bombardment along with antimatter for energy production, as the intense strong nuclear force field of Element 115's nucleus would be properly amplified the resulting large-scale gravitational effect would be a distortion of the surrounding space-time continuum that would, in effect, greatly shorten the distance and travel time to a charted destination.[5]

Lazar also claims that he was given introductory briefings describing the historical involvement by extraterrestrial beings with this planet for the past 1,000,000 years. The beings originate from the Zeta Reticuli 1 & 2 star system and are therefore referred to as Zeta Reticulians, popularly called 'Greys'.[6]

Lazar says he has degrees from the California Institute of Technology and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1993, the Los Angeles Times looked into his background and found there was no evidence to support his claims.[1] Stanton Friedman was only able to verify that Lazar took electronics courses in the late 1970s at Pierce Junior College.[7] The Times did discover that in 1990 Lazar had pled guilty to felony pandering (he installed a computer system for a local brothel[8], declared bankruptcy and listed his occupation as self-employed photo processor on documents.[1] A 1991 Times article reported, Lazar was "on probation in Clark County, Nevada, on a pandering charge. His educational and professional background cannot be verified - a fact he attributes to government deletion of records."[9]

Although his stories have garnered some rather interesting fanfare and media attention, it is hard to determine what the truth really is. Some hold out for Bob's story, but the majority of others remain skeptical. Including Stanton Friedman, who looked into Lazar's claims and did his own investigating on the matter.[7] Another debunker is Dr. David L. Morgan. Morgan looked into all of Lazar's scientific claims and put down most of the ideas that Lazar had elaborated on in his description of the alien spacecraft, particularly its propulsion systems and use of Element 115. Morgan also went on to say, "After reading an account by Bob Lazar of the "physics" of his Area 51 UFO propulsion system, my conclusion is this: Mr. Lazar presents a scenario which, if it is correct, violates a whole handful of currently accepted physical theories. That in and of itself does not necessarily mean that his scenario is impossible. But the presentation of the scenario by Lazar is troubling from a scientific standpoint. Mr. Lazar on many occasions demonstrates an obvious lack of understanding of current physical theories."[18]

Way more info than was really required. What I was getting at was that when he first made claims he did so because he felt his life was being threatened after he was fired for showing off some stuff to his friends.

I notice you highlighted the schooling thing but I would say your faith in others to not do whatever it takes to discredit someone or tarnish their reputation is a bit too high.

That said, when talking about Lazar one has to certainly be wary of the later stories, some of which you pointed out. I personally believe his initial stories are solid but that he eventually started making himself look bad by trying to stay relevant and trying to counteract the debunkers with even more elaborate stories that unfortunately get bunched with his whole history and lead people to say none is true instead of parts.

Legitimate question: In stories such as this or those UFO/alien related do you believe everything you read or see that coincides with your attitudes and opinions? Or are you willing to see truths here and there and see that an extremist in a opinion based topic is an extremist regardless and will do or say whatever necessary to support their views?

Ha, I've been to that site. The problem with that place is, it's impossible to find the interesting stuff because there's so many quacks there posting ridiculous horse shit.

And that actually seems plausible enough to you to be true?
Just because WE can't account for all the money they spend, doesn't mean that the people who actually spend it can't.

You really think that the government can't keep secrets. They can. They have a TON of shit, that we don't know shit about. Hell, they flew the blackbird for something like 20 years before the public even knew it existed.
They built that huge ****ing whatever it is under the Denver airport in front of hundreds of Contractors, and no one knows shit about anything.
People from area 51 claim they went fishing, had their families picnic, and vacation together, and could not tell you one thing about what the other person's actual job there is. Governments have been honing the craft of secrecy for 100s or even 1000s of years. They are VERY good at it.

I want to make it clear that I never said I believed that caller shit, just that that is the story he gave.
But I damn sure believe that the government, and other powers that be have a TON of secrets.
They own the media outlets. Who exactly is going to tell YOU top secret shit.
And even if someone did, the media could label them a quack, and then you would call them a quack. Black ops have been using the media to make the public of nations believe whatever they want for decades.
