QB - good
RB - solid, but not spectacular
WR - a little below average
TE - very good
k - good
Def - very good

only problem is that your strong in the low point total areas and solid in the high point totals areas of FFL imo.

it's a pretty solid team!
Here is mine, the first place team will get about $200

QB: Trent Green/Eli Manning
RB: LaDainian Tomlinson/Kevin Jones/Lamont Jordan/Thomas Jones/Ricky Williams/Ronnie Brown
WR: Roy Williams/Laverneous Coles/Mushin Muhammad/Isaac Bruce
TE: Jeremy Shockey
K: John Kasay
D: Pittsburgh

I like my team, I'm gonna try and trade for a WR though

There are only 8 teams. I had the 7th pick. It was a keeper league and this is my first year. I feel it will be an uphill climb myself.

8 team league? You're screwed. You're a 7th or 8th place finisher for sure. Your team would have competed for 3rd or 4th in a 12 team league.

That having been said, I'm an idiot. I know nothing about FFL. I haven't won a league in years. You should ignore everything I say about FFL.

But your team really isn't very good for an 8 team league.

Let's put it this way, I would not make extensive plans for that 500.

For comparison purposes, here is my team from an 8 team league (side by side with yours):

Code:
QB Peyton Manning Donovan McNabb
QB Jake Plummer Drew Brees

RB Kevin Jones Corey Dillon
RB Brian Westbrook Rudi Johnson
RB Warrick Dunn Larry Johnson

WR Roy Williams Javon Walker
WR Isaac Bruce Darrell Jackson
WR Lee Evans Derrick Mason

TE Tony Gonzalez Todd Heap

K Adam Vinatieri David Akers

D Baltimore Ravens Pittsburgh Steelers

Wild Larry Johnson Bubba Franks
I don't think I have a particularly strong team compared to the other people in my league, but I would like it's chances against yours. I think you may have a better RB and WR in Dillon and Walker than my best, but I think I have more depth. In fairness to you though, I'm not in a keeper league so I don't know how that affected your draft. Depending on how your expansion was handled, you may have done as well as you could be expected to. In general I think you have a decent team but I doubt if you win your league.

I dunno... it's not as bad to me as some appear to think. There's not much depth, so from that view, yeah it's a concern. If Brees is not a 1-year wonder, you have solid depth. I also like Dillon and Corey, you have two guys that can be 1,300 yard+ rushers with 12-15 TDs and then LJ as a nice option should Priest get hurt, but depth beyond your starters is not there (anywhere).

I like Walker and Jackson, Mason will struggle.

Heap has never been spectacular, but if healthy and his QB finally produces you have a good one. Franks is a good wildcard, but he's not a big points guy.

Overall- you could have done worse... I would just think an 8 team league would have deeper rosters with nice options.

Drew Brees...................................Great

RB- Corey Dillon
Rudi Johnson
Larry Johnson...................................good, but you need another starter.......................

WR- Jevon Walker
Darrell Jackson
Derrick Mason..............................jevon is huge, but is darrell jackson going to play with his alcohol problems???

TE- Todd Heap.....................good if he makes it back from injury

K- David Akers.............................very good

Defense- Steelers................................very good

Wild Card- Bubba Franks.....................very good

you seem to be in great postition, I am just really worried about your running backs... I dont think your team will do very well if you get in a shootout with another team that has some studs... but you have a well rounded team...
