KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday signed fullback/tight end Jed Collins to a two-year reserve future free agent contact.

The 6-foot, 249-pound Collins entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Philadelphia in 2008 but was released before the regular season and added to the practice squad.

Collins also played on Chicago's practice squad last season.

He spent two weeks on Cleveland's active roster, but was inactive for one contest and did not play in the other. He finished the season on the Browns' practice squad.
