Since 2007, the Royals winning percentage has nearly doubled the Chiefs [Corrected]
UPDATE: Okay, I screwed up my math. The Chiefs winning percentage has actually been .323, not the .219 I originally calculated

Assuming the Chiefs lose today, and not factoring in the Royals almost-certain loss, since 2007:

Chiefs winning percentage: .219 [Update: it's actually .323]
Royals winning percentage: .433

Chiefs
2007: .250
2008: .125
2009: .250
2010: .625
2011: .438
2012: .250

Royals
2007: .426
2008: .463
2009: .409
2010: .415
2011: .438
2012: .449


In this time span, the Chiefs have had one winning season (2010), while the Royals have to go back to 2003 to find their last winning season.

Just thought it was an interesting stat comparison.

In all fairness, however, the day-by-day parity of the MLB pretty much ensures that no team can have a winning percentage less than .300, which the Chiefs have done 4 times since 2007.

Okay, I did my math wrong.

The Chiefs winning percentage during this time is actually .323, which is still quite lower than the Royals winning percentage.
