I have a question. Could you see Berry playing that primary MLB position in the Tampa 2? He'd be utilized pretty much how he was this year, as the 3rd safety on the field, in the box. We'd need two safeties to pull it off but he's the only one on the team with the versatility to play that important position in the Tampa 2.

**** the stupid GD Tampa 2.

Passive zone defense, outdated as hell, attack the seams with a TE and the whole field opens up.

Gimme an attacking 1-gap 3-4...

I HATE the Tampa 2.

Berry as MLB? Why not allow our only True NFL safety play as either safety position?

Because the most important position for the secondary in that scheme is that mlb position. They have the biggest zone to cover. His athletic ability is rare and could be utilized in that position

Did I say I wanted it? If we hire Kiffen we could be stuck with it.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
