How to: config XP for wireless
Had to move the mother-in-law into our home as father in law just passed...ANYWHO, we have wireless shooting throughout the house...trying to hook her e-machine windows xp home edition (it has all the latest patches etc) to the net. I bought a belkin wireless usb receiver (n-300) I think. When I installed the cd and all it does not recognize the belkin...and when I look at the device drivers list it shows the little yellow diamond with the exclamation point in it saying the driver is no good. When I go to network neighborhood it shows no wireless connections. I made sure the wireless zero config was started and that is where I ended. I work down in Atlanta all week and go home every other weekend. Will be there this weekend and want to try to get this thing up so she has internet and all...any idea's out there???

Browse the CD and look for .inf files.
Install the driver manually from within device manager and point it to the correct .inf file.
