How many and/or who do you have on ignore?

I'm curious to see how many people use this feature and to what extent.

I've only really bumped heads with a few folks in all my time here, but I've never considered putting anyone on ignore. You'd miss out on part of the conversation. A conversation that you were obviously interested enough in to get in there and read....so IMO I don't think it makes much sense. And....just because you don't particularly care for someone doesn't mean they might not....at some point in time....possibly....say something meaningful!

So....waddaya got?

I think you have to work pretty hard to get ignored by one of the best and most reasonable posters in Royals threads.

It's interesting that people who have people on ignore seem reluctant to say who.

Some of you need to stop whining about new threads being made. It gets old seeing the same mega threads every day.

I used to have the same thoughts as the OP... don't want to miss out on part of the conversation, maybe the person will say something constructive or funny every once in a while..... but 1) I miss plenty of stuff posted here everyday, and 2) some people just never say anything constructive or funny... ever. Those people usually make everything about themselves though, so ignore doesn't really help the inevitable pile on in those situations (I know there are scripts that do, though).

I don't have anyone on ignore at the moment, but I've used it from time to time, if for no other reason than to squash my urge to respond to 'not sure if serious' posts or those on the wrong end of Dunning Kruger.

Internet Tough Guy and Pateeau.

I would probably have more on ignore, but I learned how to avoid threads where people make shithead jokes about actual suffering in the world.

Man dies in a fire clutching his newborn infant? Let's start the pun game! Oh we're ****ing hilarious!

A mother of two is gang raped and murdered? Better spout off about Obamacare! Socialists, amirite?

I hate people.
