Okay, boys Alex is a HOFer and nothing less we should expect greatness a player who can take this team on his back when everything falls to shit.

Game in and game out HOF worthy play is expected now. As you see from the quoted post.

Your words, not mine. But hey, if you have that kind of confidence, who am I to contradict you?

You compared him to HOF QBs, since he is at that caliber. That's what I expect, and no ALEXCUSES!

Oh well.
Being the objective guy that I am, I will admit that there wasn't as much riding on that pass as in the cases of the Catch I and the Catch II. An incompletion would have resulted in a field goal and OT. Of course, a pick loses the game.

Actually, I made a point about a certain stat that certain people think is misleading. You started the HOF discussion. I merely followed along and brought up a pass that tends to support your point.

Point is if you truly believe a player shares qualities of a HOFer game in and game out and is truly great in your opinion you state it confidently. You don't pick and choose, or backtrack with making excuses.

My opinion is that Alex is a good QB who can get to the playoffs and maybe even win a superbowl, assuming certain conditions, such as having a killer D. With the Niners he also had the benefit of Vernon Davis, one of the best tight ends to play the game (my opinion, feel free to disagree, let's say he's ****ing good.)

He is also capable of pulling you out of a hole if necessary.

Obviously, he is not Joe or Steve, and highly unlikely to ever be either. (Although he does at least now share a common moment.)
