games
St. Louis at Arizona
KC at Jets
Seattle at Atlanta
san diego at oakland
Pittsburgh at Baltimore
San Francisco at Cleveland

we own the tiebreaker with everyone except the 49ers

if st. louis, atlanta win and we lose then we pick 2nd

we can also slide down to 8th if we win and the teams behind us lose.
So the Pats might get to pick ahead of us? Nice.

This is true...but we have holes in other places that need to be placed first. I would love to have Chris Long playing DE for us.....but there is no point to have 3 DE's with the fat contracts that will come with them. I could honestly see us drafting him though...just so Carl can try and screw Allen.

Drafting to fill holes isn't the thing to do and especially in the top 5. That's how teams end up reaching. We need to take the best player no matter what the position. If we let the best player go buy then we just let someone else have that best player. The teams with the best players win the most games. Yeah we have needs at positions but you can fill those in any round of the draft and before the draft is over we'll have a chance to adress those needs at some point with the best player at the point. Clear as mudd! Right?!

You always need the best players. We're gonna pay about the same amount no matter who we draft so shouldn't we paying the best player that money?

What?? You think Hali would be a better passrushing LB then JA in that role??? I would just let JA line up on either side as a LB if we picked up Long to play as a DE..

You think now it might not be a need.. But have him take over JA's spot and move JA to the falcon, he has shown the knack that he can play different roles..

I would love to see JA lined up behind Long or Hali, whatever side is going to have a tough time blocking either two on the same side..

Holmgren is not going to risk players to injury in order to win this game, but I know he wants to win it pretty bad. He's said as much in the local media.

St. Louis can't seem to find a way to win a game. Arizona is falling apart, but aren't they playing in AZ? I expect Warner to have a good game, it could be his swan song, and it's against his old team.

I'd be happy to pick 4th. I'm afraid we're going to win this stupid ass, meaningless game and end up picking like 7th or 8th. Anything under 4th is just gravy.
