Another thing, the Spurs defense has gone in the toilet these past few games.....granted, they are not as strong defensively as they were in 03, 05 and 07, but they were better the first few games. Durant is scary once he gets going and the Spurs have no answers.

They are very evenly matched teams. Before the series started I thought that OKC's length, athletism, and youth were going to get them to the Finals through a tough game 7 at San Antonio.
You're right. People over react including myself. I've feared the Spurs for quite a while though and when you've won 32 out of 35 games and basically threw 2 of those games there's a reason for that. The first 2 games especially the 1st were winnable for OKC. These are 2 really good teams and it's anyone's series. Until OKC proves they can win in SA it's all for naught though. I'm pretty sure it's the only place the Thunder haven't win a game at since moving to OKC so it's not gonna be easy.

I doubt anyone outside the state of Texas wants to see the old ass Spurs win this series.

Only Duncan and Ginoblli are old. Everyone else is fairly young.

They are making the role players make plays. In games 1 and 2 they weren't finishing. In games 2 and 3 they were.

KD has matured so much this year at the end of games. He wants the ball and when it's a must win situation it's going in most of the time. When the rest of the team gets OKC in position to win KD is going to seal the deal most of the time. His 4th quarter performance last night was flat out special. The game winner against Dallas, 2 game winners against LA. He's been magnificent. If the Thunder don't win it won't be because of Kevin Durant.

That's the big misconception out there. Age has nothing to do with anything. Also, neither of those guys are playing like old men.

I mainly meant seeing a new team get a shot. They'll have to earn it though, but they have a lot of people behind them.

That's probably true. I think a lot of basketball fans admire the team game that the Spurs play. If I didn't have a dog in the fight I could easily root for them regardless of much much they've won in the past.

Hes kind of on a run like Dirk had last year. When a special player like that gets going, theres no way to stop it. Ill bet the Trailblazers kick themselves everyday for selecting Oden.

OKC is fun to watch and it's easier to get behind a young team that has never been there before. That being said I want whoever can take out the Heat. For that I would be eternally grateful.

He's awful. I really don't see how he keeps a job. Game 1 Thunder/Spurs was probably the worst I've seen.

Different sport, but Joey Crawford is exactly the kind of game official that Jim Leyland ranted to the media about the other day.

Crawford is terrible, yet the media tries to sell him as one of the best.

Why?
