KC - First dibs on all roster cuts?

Just to be clear, do the Chiefs get first opportunity to claim any player, cut by any team from here on out?

If so, this gives Dorsey and Reid some solid opportunities to upgrade the roster with quality and depth.

Manning also didn't have to clear waivers, which is what I think the OP is talking about.

This roster has talent, but not a lot of depth.

We have decent depth for the most part. Our glaring weakness is WR depth.
