I thought he was supposed to be the nicest player in the NBA?

But Kevin Durant has been fined $25,000 by the league $25,000 for making a menacing gesture, it was announced by Stu Jackson, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

It came on a play you may remember from the second quarter, with 1:45 on the clock Stephen Curry slipped by Russell Westbrook and drove the lane, but Westbrook recovered and made a huge block that ignited a fast break the other way.

Durant finished it with a dunk, and as he did gave a little stare to a nearby official and clapped a couple times going up court.

It was about as menacing as a Will Smith rap, but this is the league and their often inconsistent sense of justice. So this gets a fine.

The Lakers pull out the win to stay in front of the Jazz. However, Kobe was unable to finish the game and appears to be really hurt this time. Not sure he can play through this one, but you never know with Kobe.

did you watch the game? Everytime the Lakers went inside which was ALOT they fouled. How do you expect a Jump shooting team to get alot of fouls?

I only saw the 4th quarter, but from what I saw I agree. Golden State was shooting nothing but jump shots.

I saw A LOT of ticky tack fouls that had it been someone like the Hornets the NBA wouldn't have called the fouls. Ohh well, the Warriors are at least 2 seasons away from being anything worth a shit.

Man, I do feel bad for Kobe. Dude still believed they were winning the whole ****ing thing even though that was highly unlikely. To me, that is his greatness. There are lots of things that have annoyed me about him through the years, but I respect the shit out of him as a basketball player.
