Okay, here is a place for the Golfers to talk about tournaments, clubs, swing help or thoughts.

Today is the Players Championship, which I think ought to be the 5th Major. Largest pot in the PGA. The daunting 17th, which seems to bring excitement every year. At least we will get to see Sergio blow up yet again.

I am ready to see some water balls!

I have had two skycaddy's love them!!!!

BTW was out looking at new drivers for the year, and fell in love. The new Ping i15 is one of the best looking clubs I have seen in a long time. Anti-draw, all black face, man I have to get me one.

Also the new Cleveland CG7 irons look bad ass, with the black heads. Adams also has a set out with black heads (they are blades) and a black steel shaft.

I'm damn happy with my Upro.

And once the weather warms up a bit, I'm going to test drive an R9 460. You can get them damn cheap in the resale market now.

I could never hit an 11 degree loft driver. I already hit an extremely high ball with a 9.5degree loft. Nice looking club, though.

Now the Callaway FT-iQ's have dropped in price, and I absolutely love the look of those drivers... big ol' square head, just like mine. Carbon fiber is so damned sexy.

My sister told me about a yoga for golf class she had heard about. I think I might do it.

I can see it now, a bunch of over weight booze swilling golfers rolling around on the floor looking like big fat drunken pretzels.

I hate square drivers, personally. No feel, and they don't go as far, IMO.

YMMV.

I'm in the market for a new ~~complete ****ing waste of money~~ driver myself.

That said, the technological advances from my G2 to the current crop isn't what most would have you believe.

I'm thinking about grabbing a gently used Rapture (original, super long) or taking an FT-9 for a test drive and figuring out what shaft works best for me.

I kind of got out of golf last year just due to work, family, etc. I'm hoping to get back into it fully this year. We should do a CP Golf outing sometime.
