Why is facebook the dumbest thing ever?
Seriously?

I had an original account I deativated 3 years ago because even 80% of my real friends are ****ing annoying.

So I started a new job 2 weeks ago and corporate likes "the talent" to have personal fb pages. So I started another. 2 weeks in and I deactivated it again tonight. I seriously don't care what they think... if fb stupidity is a requirement here then send me on to my next job.

Is this really what we've come to? Goddamn CP is full of stupid enough. Don't make me do facebook too.

BTW those of you on my fb friends list, you can go ahead and delete. Or whatever.

I was just being goofy. I don't use twitter nearly as often as FB, but don't have a problem with any of it. Social media doesn't run my life or anything, but I do enjoy it for a number of reasons.. I agree, if something or someone is annoying to me, I delete/hide/ignore it. It's pretty easy to do.

I enjoy Twitter. I've had an account for a couple of years, and I've tweeted maybe 5 or 6 times? It's the people I follow that get me. Random candid things you'd never hear in the media from celebs or athletes... and when real news happens it's always there first.

Mainly (for me) it's just a way to gauge public opinion on whatever's on your mind at the moment.
