Football Tanard Jackson suspended indefinitely by NFL

Tanard Jackson appears to have again been undermined by off-the-field demons.

A league spokesman announced Wednesday that the Washington Redskins safety has been suspended indefinitely for violating the league's policy on substance abuse.

The announcement comes just two months after Jackson had been reinstated by the league and re-signed by the Redskins. Jackson hasn't appeared in a game since 2011 following a second suspension for violating the NFL's policy on substance abuse.

He's never taken a regular-season snap for the Redskins, who signed him in 2012 after five seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last month, Jackson spoke with optimism about his second chance with the Redskins.

"Going from playing football to working in a warehouse at a 9-to-5 job is a humbling experience," he told The Tampa Tribune. "It's taught me to never take anything in this business for granted."

Now Jackson has again moved himself outside the NFL circle. This time, perhaps for good.

Never cared much for him anyways. Maybe it was because he was with the Bucs though.
