*** Broncos at Chiefs 12-04-05 Game Thread ***

OK, last year I had tremendous mojo vs animal named teams in the football season, this year, I havent tried out the animal team opponent mojo.

I figure if this works, we are all pleased... if it doesnt, then I retire from Game Threads.

This game is so important, we have to beat this team.

LETS MAKE ARROWHEADLOUDER!!11

Just a quick pre-game post to say here's to a good competitive game. Arrowhead is always a tough venue for a rival team... hopefully our guys all packed their A" game (ie: minimizing mistakes while capitalizing on all opportunities. Go Broncos!

Nothing says class like the above post.

Should be a good game tomorrow. I hope that both of our squads make it through without injury and that those guys can give us what our entertainment dollar demands! Go Broncos!

Here's to Dante with another ST TD and Denver falling to 1-15 at Arrowhead in December.

Donkey INJURY REPORT: Tackle Cornell Green (left shoulder) and linebacker Keith Burns (right knee) did not practice Friday, meaning both were held out of practice all week.

Burns, who has a sprained medial collateral ligament, is the Broncos' special-teams captain, so they would have to adjust if he doesn't improve significantly by Sunday.

Because the Broncos' other backup linebackers already are on special teams and most teams don't like to lose too much size in their coverage teams, the Broncos would be looking for a speed player bigger than a cornerback.

That would narrow it to someone like reserve safety Hamza Abdullah (213 pounds) or wide receiver David Terrell (212).

"(Burns') knee swelled up a little bit," Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said. "He feels pretty good, we'll just have to wait and see."

Shanahan added he didn't expect Green to be able to play.
