In COD, you spawn and you have to run to the action a lot of times. In BF3, on the other hand, you can spawn on your squad mates right into the thick of action (unless your squad was wiped, of course).

BF3 can also be a lot more hectic when you have to decide whether to go revive your teammate real quick or keep shooting at the Russians and risk being too late with the revival. Do you arm the charge on an MCOMM and hope that your squad can spawn on you in time to keep it from being defused or do you keep trying to kill dudes? It's just so much more dynamic at times with the threat assessment and split second decisions you have to make... either way the adrenaline flows.

You're talking to a guy who played like 17 days worth of MW2 or something like that, BTW.

I don't want a game where you have to compete as a team or else you lose. I want a game where as soon as i enter i can turn into John ****ing Rambo and just completely annihilate the other team by myself. If my teammates don't get a kill and we win the game due to my ass kicking prowess, that would be the perfect game. Oh, and if i never die.

Although, i do love to be able to spawn right on top of a teammate. That part of BF is awesome. Otherwise in some of those maps it takes 12 hours just to get to the fighting area.

I totally get that, BF3 is not as fun to play without friends as COD is. If you're playing with friends, though, BF3 is vastly superior, IMO.

I've never played it with friends. So i have no idea.

I'd love to get into some shit with you and plow when you play. Seems like a good time.

I'm gearing up for some ass kicking with my local friends and then the CP crew. I know the CP is hilarious. Getting my mic charged as we speak.

I chalk that up to the low player count in the console version. They needed to at least up the players from 24 to 36. With 12 per team, on vehicle maps, you might have 2 in an attack helicopter, 2 in jets, 2-4 in tanks leaving only a couple of guys actually running around on foot.

Yeap. We'll have to wait for XBOX 720 for the fully glorious 32 on 32 combat on large maps. All out war.

We shouldn't have to though... there are already games out that support more than 24 player multiplayer. Dice just didn't make it work.

Well, I just have to assume that the XBOX/PS3 can't handle Frostbite 2 with that many people. I don't see any other reason why DICE would chose to limit their game in that way. You know their vision was 32 vs 32 since that's what it is on PC.

I can't wait to get the game personally.
Be honest, people like Call Of Duty because it's easy. You don't have to try to hard to be decent, and you don't have to try to hard to find someone to kill. It's made for the masses to have fun, and that's what they do.

I've loved the COD games minus all the Treyarch versions. I'll be getting this one and I'm sure I'll enjoy the hell out of it for what it is.

I would say having 3 separate killstreak tiers is a pretty good advancement. Especially when each class that you have has it's own separate killstreak loadout. I can't tell you how many times I have ran the wrong killstreak setup and was stuck with killstreaks I didn't want. Now you can just change your class to whichever one has the killstreak loadout you want.

The Assault streaks are just like what you are used to from MW2, but now you don't have to die to keep getting streaks, as soon as you reach your highest streak your killstreaks reset. Now if you get 21 kills with your gun without dying and are running a 3-5-7 setup you will get 3 UAV's, 3 pred missiles, and 3 Attack Choppers.

Support streaks reward players who run team friendly killstreaks and you don't have to worry about losing your streak when you die. Plus you get points toward your killstreaks for playing objectives, shooting down killstreaks, and you even get points each time a teammate picks up a ballistic vest. The Support Package is revolutionary because now people don't have to worry about dying, it's a brilliant way to influence people to move around more.

The Specialist Package will let you get extra perks instead of killstreaks. Every two kills in a row gets you another perk, and once you get an 8 killstreak you will be given every perk in the game.

They also added the Prestige Shop, Call of Duty Elite, improved Theater Mode, two new gamemodes, and added a greatly enhanced version of Private Match with ranked leaderboards and unheard of customization. Now people can create a custom gamemode where you can restrict anything you want and post it on Call of Duty elite for others to play, and if enough people play it, IW will add it to the public playlist.

BF is easier IMO. It's slow paced and you can have literally the worst gun skills ever and you'll still do fine.

Bad gun skills in CoD = You dying 99% of the time in a gun battle. Bad reaction time = You dying 99%.

In BF, you don't need good reaction time because the person you're shooting at is about 100 yards away . It's ridiculous. You can go through a whole game and the closest you'll be to an enemy is about 25 yards away.

A competitive objective game in CoD >>>> All

I love it when in domination shit comes down to the wire and the score ends up like 200-198 and most of the players are capping flags. There's nothing like it.

And for the people who say there's no teamwork in CoD, you obviously haven't played Sabotage or Search and Destroy. You will get absolutely dominated if you don't use teamwork in those games and the other team is.

I'm pretty sure -King- is the tree tackling guy in all those videos. Objective based modes in COD are laughable compared to BF3. COD has much better TDM seeing as the spawn system in BF's TDM is an absolute abortion. That mode is more like an FFA but you happen to be on a team. Just a complete failure on DICE's part.

Agreed....especially the TDM in BF3 spawn points. What the **** is up with that. Seriously, if you stand in one spot long enough, the other team will just start spawning 5 feet in front of you. lol. It sucks bad when you are on the other end of it though.

COD is like a one man show for 99% of the game modes. Sure, if you have a team together you'll win 99.9% of the time, but you don't need it. One good person on your team will make the game close in just about any game mode in COD - you may not win, but you won't get your ass kicked either.
