Nice - lockdown corner as opposed to when we signed a lockup corner (Damon Arnette)

I was curious about the team name so I went looking, and there's no explanation at all. Here, for example, is what the team president wrote as a direct response, and it contains precisely zero usable information:

https://ottawasun.com/2013/06/08/ott...r-the-cfl-team

What if that random guy had suggested Teacups? Or Lunar Modules? There's no explanation for this name at all. The only thing I can even theorize is that perhaps a previous football incarnation used those colors for reasons that are also not explained.

Translated into French, "redblack" refers to a card game. That's all I got.

Ottawa is a nice city. Would be a cool place to live for a few years. Canada, not Kansas...

First off, I'd rather live in Ran Man's mind that John Malkovich. Much more interesting.

Secondly, I'd not put much stock in Clark's drunk (but rich) Canadian cousin, Eddie...Jeff Hunt. As nice as the city & people are... nothing makes sense in Ottawa. But if it helps:

I lived in Ottawa, KS once. Not much to see there. They do have a Wal-Mart though.
