I have the sports bundle (600's) as well.

Several times a year, games that aren't on espn....will be broadcast on one of the channels in the 600's.

The 600's include all the fox sports channels....YES network....Florida sports channels, fox soccer, etc etc.

Often, a game not on espn or cbs....will show up on YES or similar sports network. I've caught a ton of KU football games on those channels (for what that's worth).....

I live in so cal.....so it's worth it to me (I think that package is only around 5-8 bucks a month).

During College Bb season.....you can see a ton of games.....prob more than espn full court if you do the math.

So is there a way to siphon off all the shit channels that are blacked out? It takes a hell of a long time to go through all the 600's channels for a couple basketball games you might not get otherwise.

Sorry just got home. I just have the premiere package which includes access to some of the 600 channels if they aren't blacked out. I have seen every KU basketball game on one of those 600 channels since I've had directv. This year I asked my friend for his loggin for his TWC on my iPad because I don't have cable I have directv. After these next few games I'm sure the rest will be on one of those 600 channels and I won't have to watch it on my iPad anymore.

The only stuff that really gets blacked out are mlb games during the Baseball season. And NBA.

I just looked up the hawks schedule......it would prob get you an additional 4 games. With 2 others being jayhawk tv/time warner for locals......and the rest being on espn or cbs.

BUT....those four games are the Bahamas tourney......which is either AXS or NBC sports.....which depending upon how NBC does it.....could end up on the nbc sports channel in the low 200's.....or in the 600's.

Could be a complete waste.....or valuable....depending on how the Bahamas tourney is broadcast.

This. Although he worded it and explained it better lol long day. You see WAY more games and EVERY KU game. It will be on one of those channels, always has. Be thankful that KU is KU because if it weren't for their prominence I don't think they'd be on one of those all the time. But I've never missed a KU game with this package and have gotten to see more games than what ESPNFC offers. Love directv.

Agreed.....ESPN full court does not carry all games. That's the big misnomer with the product.

So back to Z's strange quote about "national exposure" - what does that even mean? Does he think that our lack of TVs (realignment) is going to be offset by people in North Carolina having access to our women's volleyball on ESPN3.com? Please explain the economics of this.

And they're not in HD on ESPNFC. The 600s every game is broadcasted in HD. I was shocked by the way. I thought living out in Arizona now I'd never get to see my Jayhawks. But those 600s show more KU football and basketball games than they show Chiefs games out here on CBS (which is why I have NFLST obviously). They haven't shown all KU football games but they have shown EVERY KU basketball game for the four years I've been out here.
