"Cunningham's philosophy is simple: Win with defense, special teams and a strong running game. 'If I was going to be that selfish, I could say, `Hey, to (heck) with the team, I'm going to go out there and score 30 points every game, and if we score 30, we ought to win.' But you know what would happen, we'd score 30 but we'd get beat because we threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. The object is to win.'" Game one, an interception was returned for a TD and 30 points would have won the game. Last time bob Dole checked, 30 > 27. Game two, 30 points would have won the game even if an interception had been returned for a TD. Can somebody in KC slap some sense into this man?
