There are all sorts of stats about the forum buried in the Admin CP. I'd love to make those available to everyone, but I haven't really found an add-on that does it well. But, I'm a stats geek, so I might bump this thread from time to time with useless tidbits that I find interesting.

I had a hard enough time keeping up with the two ditzy broads I introduced to this place. I gotta say between Bucsgirl and badgirl that badgirl left a longer lasting impression.

I actually still stay in touch with badgirl. A couple weeks ago I brought up her theory about underwater hurricanes and was not surprised to find she is still sticking to her guns on that.

In case anyone's curious about this stuff anymore, here's an update for the year. In short, we're still a lot slower than the "glory days," of 2013, but the downward decline that we saw from 2013-2016 appears to have stopped. We're actually slightly above 2016 in terms of year-to-date posts at the moment. Time will tell if this holds.

I do agree that the practice of screening new users was a pretty big problem. It's not THE problem, but it was A problem.

Overall, we're actually a bit down from last year, but there's definitely an uptick in the last month.

Making it a little clearer, here's the average number of posts per day, restricted to the month of September.

So since Mahomes became a god, we're up roughly 15% in daily posts from last year.
