Awesome

TJ Carpenter@TJCarpenterWHB
Mike Mayock: Geno Smith flashed everything you want to see from a franchise quarterback in the NFL.

Last month according to mayock he wasn't even a 1st rounder. Now he's a 20-32 pick. He'll keep rising

TJ Carpenter@TJCarpenterWHB
Mike Mayock: Geno Smith is inconsistent however, as is the case with all the quarterbacks, he's more of a 20-32 pick in the 1st.

Haven;t you seen many of these types of things? Most quarterbacks should have been able to quickly draw up the same play Mooch just did and explain most everything he just did.

Geno drew the line, qb and back and didn't even draw up the receivers...

I am fully on the Genowagon, but this interview was a total flat tire.

Anybody know how big Andy Reids playbook is?

If its big, this type of thing could mean that we cant expect Geno to come right in and start right away...maybe thats why they are talking about making a move for a vet...
I agree - given how much we hear about his tape study and how much of a "football nerd" he supposedly is, I was pretty shocked at how badly he did recreating the play. If he had missed one or two small details that would have been one thing, but he forgot the guard protecting him on the rollout and JERRY ****ING RICE. I like Geno quite a bit, but stuff like this makes me wonder if all this "Geno is a cerebral genius" stuff is fluff.

I think the "what's the top drug on campus?" line threw him more than anything.

Anyway, that interview doesn't really matter either way. It's the ones that we don't get to see that will tell the tale.

Geno Smith had about the best combine anyone could have expected.

He owned.

After today Geno is the BPA. We can still draft Geno. It all hinges on Branden Albert. This franchise solely rests on one person and he could decide the franchises fate for 10+ years. He holds the future in his hands.
