football doesn't matter much any longer...
When you get a text at 2 am indicating your Pops had been admitted to the hospital with after suffering a coronary. Sitting here waiting for 2 hours with no news kinda blows but I presume he will get cleaned out and be fine in a couple days. He's 64.

Update: He's fine. Two stents and he'll be home in 2 days. Pretty minor by today's standards but he'd be dead if this were 30-40 years ago.

When I was a youngster my Grandma died of one at 58. Then my mom had a small one a couple years ago. It's in the family. Scares the shit out of you. Glad they got it under control so quickly, that's great!

Ah, shit man. I got that call a couple years ago. It took a lot more than a stent to take care of it, but he's doing great these days. Hope his hospital stay is short and that he's up and trucking again quickly.
