With the DayZ standalone playable alpha release looming, I thought I would check out the mod version of the game. http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/

If you dont know, DayZ is an open world survival zombie game modification based off of the military sim ArmA 2 games. www.dayzmod.com

Basically its hardcore mode survival against zombies and even more dangerous, other players.

I have been watching vids for months and took advantage of a steam sale today to pick up ArmA 2.

Anyone playing DayZ right now? Servers? Thoughts? I have a teamspeak we can use!

Those storage units up north spawn scopes. I picked up an extra PU scope and I logged out right near the storage units so I can check for more whenever we play.

Took me a while, but I'll be all up in this pretty soon.
It will be the first video game I've played since Red Dead Redemption.
I started an ebay biz a lil while back, and ended up with a Radeon 7950 in my possession, so....yeah.
Any can't miss games I can get for cheap to play too?
I'll chime back in when I'm rollin' with DayZ.
