It's a funny thing that Parker and LeBron haven't been hot at the same time in the 4th quarter. I think this series is going to come down to which of the two outplays the other in the 4th quarter for the rest of the series.

I've just seen that killer instinct in Parker. How many times has the half closed with Parker on a few possessions taking a shot no matter what. Even if he's triple covered? I don't care who LeBron is most of the game. In game 6 or 7, I don't care how much he's covered. LeBron can't be the distributor in the 4th quarter. I'd rather a covered LeBron take a shot in that situation than Bosh shoot an open shot.

Manu ****ing Ginobili showed more killer instinct than LeBron tonight.

LeBron is pathetic and heir to no one's throne.

I'd say I'm surprised, but I'm not. The Spurs are dangerous when they smell blood. Incredible stat.

Danny Green has hit some shots. He doesn't play elite level defense, facilitate, or rebound for his team like Miami's best player.

Looks like Miami is still the odds-on favorite to win this series even with the loss tonight. Home advantage matters.

Sure. Stearn is going to have the ref favor Miami and try to set up a game 7.

That was also the best game of the season for Manu. Outside of last night he has been an absolute non factor this series and you are a fool to think he could repeat that performance again.

Figured this would be a 7 game series. With how Miami usually bounces back after a loss, that's probably what will happen.

Don't know if this had been posted, but LeBron was 1 for ****ing 8 with Boris "titty's" Diaw covering him.

He settled for jump shots instead of attacking.

For all the talk of who is historically better, can we use the Bill Simmons pyramid as a starting point? If you've read his Book of Basketball, you understand he did a significant amount of research to come to his list. That said, any list like this includes some bias. But at least this generally puts the right players into the right groupings. I saw someone say Karl Malone was ahead of Kobe. Umm, no.

Simmons HOF Pyramid - Top 96

Edit : LeBron is the variable here. The list is a couple of years old, so the assumption has to be that LeBron has moved up from his #20 ranking. Obviously, where inside that top 20 is very much open to debate. He's also the only guy near the top of this list who still has a lot of time to move up (or down).

Not bad and that's pretty close to my modern top 5 I listed earlier. You can flip flop Magic and Larry as it's tought to put over the other and Duncan and Kobe can be considered pretty close as well. Like you said Lebron is still a work in progress, but at the moment he's still behind Kobe all time.
