Current Weather Forecasts for Both AFC Playoff Games

Weather will favor both home teams, as they play warmer weather teams in cold, windy, crappy, wet conditions.

New England vs Tennessee Saturday Night in Foxborough:
Tomorrow: Rain likely before noon, then a slight chance of freezing rain between noon and 1pm. Patchy fog between 7am and 10am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 27 by 3pm. South wind 9 to 13 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 11. North wind 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Pittsburgh-Jacksonville Sunday Afternoon: The forecast at this time has temps in the teens for the game that starts at 1:05pm at Heinz Field. Snow flurries may be falling with cloudy conditions. Wind speeds are likely to top out near 20 mph with wind gusts over 30 mph possible. It will be a nasty day for fans trying to stay warm. So far this season, the coldest game the Jags have played in was at Nashville playing the Tennessee Titans on December 31. Temperatures were in the mid-20s for the game with a wind chill of about 12į. Starters didnít play in the game as the Jaguars seeding was already determined and they lost the game 15-10. They also won a hard fought game against Cleveland on November 19th as well this season 19-7. That game saw snow showers and a wind chill of around 20 degrees.
This weekendís game may be one of the colder ones in the brief Jaguars history. The franchise's coldest game ever was played on December 17th, 2000. Temperatures for that game were in the mid-teens with a wind chill near 0į. Jacksonville lost the game 17-14.

This. I haven’t watched a second of football after the Chiefs game, not have I turned on ESPN. I have no idea who won the NFC games last weekend and only know that Jacksonville won because I live here and people at work were talking about it. I’m not watching the rest of this season and will try to live in blissful ignorance of football for as long as I can hold out.

Tell me about it. The Pats won't even have to cheat to win this one.

They will, of course, but they don't have to.
