Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

They had one sitting in Cabela's today so I make them take it out of the case. Nice gun, great feel to it.

I also went into another outfit looking at rifles and they just got in a shipment of.22 LR bullets. Limit 200 per person, so I got two boxes of 100 at $9.95 a box. It felt like I hit the Powerball.

I was really hoping I'd be able to get it today so I'd have it for the weekend, but they shipped a day too late. Oh well. I've got some new grips for it that I'll probably have to put on by my gunsmith because of the magwell, so that won't happen now until next weekend.

Costs a little more but well worth it IMO.

Cool. I got a regular 10/22 when I was 12, and still have it. I can drill sparrows at a good distance with it.

Let us know what you think. Accuracy results are welcome.

Picked up my new AK-74 on Monday from a local gun store.

I got it from Atlantic Firearms. It was my first time buying a gun online, and the transaction couldn't have went smoother. I have a feeling it won't be the last time I order a firearm from them.

I don't have any ammo for it yet. Next week, I plan on ordering at least 4 spam cans (1,080 rounds each) of 5.45 x 39.

I apologize for the shitty cell phone pics. But its a rule that you have to post pics of any new guns.

Actually the Missouri Wildlife Code states: "There shall be no closed season or limits
on house sparrows or European starlings." This is my OK to eradicate these pests at will.

Decent deal for a good sized bullet.

If only they were as accurate as a .308.

Cabelas has Herter's .223 in steel for 35 cents per round.

HURRY. They are flying out the door. limit of 5 per order but I've been able to place multiple orders. I should get at least 5 (boxes of 20) though they may cancel my other orders.
