No, but I won't be engaged in the NFL if they keep talking about it instead of football. If they kneel, I don't care. If they stand, I don't care. If they stay in the locker room, I don't care. I'm sick and tired of hearing about it. I'm sick and tired of hearing about politics in sports. SPORTS ARE MY RELEASE. If I wanted to talk about politics, I'd watch Fox News or CNN. Maybe that is why some people are gravitating towards video games? NO BULLSHIT

Right. What a strange zilla comment, that a guy who's really passionate about an issue, gets mocked by his own fans on a nationally televised game, yells "**** you bitch" into the crowd.... but nah... the fans had NOTHING to do with Peters not wanting to play last year.

Agree with this, much like "thoughts and prayers", it's a way to make it look like you care without actually doing anything.

He's right though. The Hunt family has always reacted strongly to being embarrassed. Having the fan base going ballistic about Peters taking a knee was embarrassing for the organization. You're being naive if you think that taking a knee didn't play a major role in Peters being traded. The hostile interactions with the fans played a role but that hostility also stemmed from Peters taking a knee.

I wouldn't say that's all they are doing. There's been articles about them in talks with the teams and NFL about how to make a difference. Some have donated money to certain causes, helped charities etc.

To say they're doing nothing other than kneeling is just wrong.

Edit: I agree about 'Thoughts and prayers' is not doing a damn thing

I think all players taking a knee will see their stock drop on the open market. In the end it is a business and you don't want to alienate customers. I have a new found respect for the Cowboys and the way Jerry Jones and the players have handled it.

That's true, but the NFL can only do so much. If they truly want to make a difference, maybe some direction as far as what the average fan that has to put up with this can do. I'd love to see racial inequalities eliminated as well but I don't have the slightest idea what to do end it other than doing my best to treat people equally on a personal level.
