****OFFICIAL DENVER'S DEFENSE IS HORRIBLE THREAD****

We can beat these assholes with 30 points. Their Defense is bottom 3rd bad...if not worse.

Discuss.

Don't disagree, the game is officiated to their advantage already, and their Passing offense may be historic good- our D at this point, no.

But, as the season progresses, offenses don't have the same luxury of ideal conditions, unless your a dome team. Peyton has never been a great cold bad weather guy, not that he's incapable and he's still him, but this tale has played itself out before. Another reason why Aaron Rodgers is a freak- his numbers in bad weather and below freezing games are mind blowing.

This long injury holdout might be a great excuse to work him into more of a supporting role. Our bye week is coming at a good time. We need to get back to creating at least moderate pass rush to be effective with the Defense we run. I had forgotten, Woodyard left the game as well. The D that was out there today was definitely hampered a bit and our DC floundered as he tried to adapt. I wouldn't be surprised if they hold him out next week and Del Rio creates a game plan without both of them.

I'm glad you see his true value, but he definitely still has some, but it's not like Champ Island is coming in and Von and him coming back is 1A & 1B in terms of talent.

Enjoy your victory, Listo, you at least contribute around when these nonsense threads don't rear up and everyone goes hard line in taking their rival positions.

Same to you, bud. The AFCW is looking vicious again. We've got the Chargers up and coming too. Should be an interesting year.

BINGO !!

Denver's offense IS a juggernaut contrary to some opinions and Manning only gets better with his WR's over time. I mean hell, Dal goes up 14-0 and sucking half of the 1st qrt down after the 1st possession by Dal and Manning didn't bat an eye and next thing you know by mid 2nd qrt they are up 21-17.

Our D and special teams,Succopp are legit but we can't keep relying on them more and more every week as our offense continues to stall in the redzone. Succopp making 4 FGs is a double edge sword and only costs us in the long run. Alex and our offense scares no one. We have to sustain drives with 2/3rds being TDs in the redzone and that is not happening right now. Only way you beat Manning is keeping him on the sideline and you do that with sustained drives eating the clock up and scoring TDs otherwise he eventually shreds our 2ndary because as much as I like how our D has vastly improved the pass rush but I don't see our front 7 getting to him in 1.5 to 2secs which is how quickly he gets rid of the ball on average. Oh and did you notice how well Chris Clark handled D Ware today ??

I love all the improvements and winning for our Chiefs and all the fan excitement but let's not get ahead of ourselves

For me it's deja vu of early 90's Chiefs football all Great Defense and very little offense. Andy will hopefully change the other half and get this offense ticking consistently.

A good game the way they look right now will be holding them under 30. But we can't beat them with the offensive production we've had so far. It's just not enough. Fortunately there's a bunch of time between now and then.

I was actually encouraged by the offense today. I thought it was the best defense they'd seen all year and the ol played well, we pushed it down field more etc.

We just have lulls where we go flat and we can't settle for field goals.

People were pissed about us not scoring more in the first half, which is true, we probably should have, but that's a top 10 defense.

don't matter. if our offense performs the way they did in 3/4 of the game today and not score, the game won't matter anyway.

if KC is down 2+ possession at nearly any point in the game, our offense is toast.
short of a turnover that gives us a short field or points; same with STs.

KC had better get some 3rd down conversions more than their awesome 1 for 12 (or something very sad) or Manning is going to have a field day.

Manning is a Hall of Famer and likely one of if not the most intelligent quarterback to ever play the game. With that said, I don't understand the doom and gloom attitudes about playing the Broncos this year. In our first five games, the Chiefs and Broncos have had three common opponents, one terrible opponent (Oak and Jax) and one good (arguably great) opponent (Ten and Bal).

This win by the Broncos today reminded me a lot of the win we had over the Packers in 2003. Sure, it was a memorable win over a mediocre-good opponent, but similar to the Chiefs in 2003, today's game may have revealed the depth of Denver's defensive weaknesses.

Denver has yet to play a defense like ours, and heck, has yet to play a truly impressive opponent (again, much like the 03 Chiefs). It's possible they will sweep us, sure, but remember, this is almost the same team that Romeo and company held to 17 points at Arrowhead last year.

From what we've seen from the 2013 Chiefs and Broncos, I do not believe we can yet assume that our games against Denver will be automatic losses.

#12 scoring offense is maybe a misnomer. #12 scoring team perhaps. I'd have to go back through the box scores, but I'm not sure the STs and defense isn't responsible for a third of the team's TDs. And I mean directly, as in scoring themselves, not even trying to figure in field position and stuff like that.
