With the DayZ standalone playable alpha release looming, I thought I would check out the mod version of the game. http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/

If you dont know, DayZ is an open world survival zombie game modification based off of the military sim ArmA 2 games. www.dayzmod.com

Basically its hardcore mode survival against zombies and even more dangerous, other players.

I have been watching vids for months and took advantage of a steam sale today to pick up ArmA 2.

Anyone playing DayZ right now? Servers? Thoughts? I have a teamspeak we can use!

yup, thats how I got it. Had it set on 10 minute shadowplay+manual 1080p 60fps, worked great except I had it recording my mic and it picked up every little thing.

2 nights ago I was meeting up with the dudes at North East Airfield and unfortunately about 60 seconds before I met up with them they were both killed by the ATC tower. I was literally 15 seconds away by the time they were both dead. Their killer was in for a surprise when he thought everything was safe. He was running away from a zombie and then went to a knee to put on a bandage just as I rounded the corner. Put him down and then double tapped to make sure.

I checked my surroundings to make sure it was safe to loot his body and then the server reset. Bummer.

Ya I think it would be amazing for PS4 but sony i think has its own version of dayz coming out I have to look up the name
