Has Pioli would away from the tree?

Drafting Berry over Okung didn't seem like the Patriot way. Reading all of Whitlocks articles you'd think Pioli had an ego but it seems like Josh McDaniels is the one with the Patriots ego. So did last nights draft change anyone elses prospective about Pioli?

Exactly.

Now, should he knock these next three picks out of the park, I'll give some respect. It would go a long way towards cleaning up last year's **** ups.

If we waste one of them on an lineman, all bets are off.

I know one tree that McDaniels is firmly attached to:

Where has that photo been all of these years?

Obvious first rounders do not make Pioli a draft God. If he does the right thing tonight, it will help a LOT.

actually...

the Patriots don't take OL early...the take them in the mid rounds and develop them into 1st round talent...

I think if we get Clausen...that would be amazing...but after that...there will be head scratchers that the drafturbators will most definitely question...but if we get Berry/Clausen even they won't give a shit.

If I hear Clausen's name get called for the Chiefs around 5:15 PM or so I, along with everyone else, can simply turn off the television and be content for the entire draft...everything else is just gravy.

In January...

I was calling for Berry/Clausen and getting neg reps for it...saying we should trade our 2nds to move back into round 1 and get Clausen...

the fact we may get him at 36 is amazing to me...

and if it happens it will be the happiest I've ever been as a Chiefs fan and they can draft Mecca himself at #50 and I won't even be angry because...

Berry/Clausen = we won the draft with two picks.

God yes! And we could still fix the defense in a big way with those next 6 picks.

Seriously...

If we started a poll before the draft even started...

95% of the board would take Berry and Clausen if it cost us our 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5th and 5th...

If trading all our picks for those two players were an option...EVERYONE would have jumped on board.
