This game is so amazing purely because it makes you completely empathize with the character.

A) I want to protect Ellie.
B) She also annoys the shit out of me.
C) She's a cute kid, so it's not that terrible, but shit, kid...
D) This is the first video game where I genuinely loathe the action. Not because it's done poorly, but because I just want to ****ing make it from point A to point B without having to dodge asshole military or renegade lawless shitheads, let alone zombies.

The game was perfect and pretty hard and strategic. With the Uncharted series they had puzzles and made the fighting relatively easy. TLOU made everything scarce and when you used weapons or upgraded pieces you had to make it count.

There needs to be more of this from Naughty Dogg.

This. If they got into her head, killed her, and saved the human race it would have sucked in multiple ways. First, she'd be dead, that would suck. Also, there'd be no sequel, which would suck.

This was the best ending possible.
