The rules:

In Round 1, I'm going to put up three randomly selected scenes from the nomination thread.

You'll vote for your ONE favorite scene among the three. The key here is FAVORITE. We're not talking about the 'best' or 'most powerful' or 'most meaningful'. We're talking about the scene that you most enjoy watching, however you define that.

The winners will move on. I'll also take the 10 highest-scoring second-place scenes and they'll advance as wild cards.

Some of our nominations did not include clips. This will be noted. If you find a clip, please post it and let me know so I can update it if it moves on.

I just don't see how people are voting for the Pulp Fiction scene. It's just them dancing for crying out loud.

I think it's just people voting for their favorite movie from each heat, regardless of the scene. Same thing when there's a freaking Tombstone scene.

I love the Pulp Fiction scene. The music, the way they move, it's awesome. I grin the whole time I'm watching it, because it's a fun scene.

I never noticed it before, but music is a big factor in identifying my favorite scenes. When I think about scenes that make my "favorites" list, many of them rise to the top because they have cool music.

Okay, in this epic battle only one - er, two - will survive. Due to a tie, both Pulp Fiction and The Avengers move on.

I hate to see There's Something About Mary bow out of the tournament. Both scenes from that movie ended up in brutal heats and lost out.
